Your Guide to the 2017 Wonderful Witchy Women Luncheon and Silent Auction

Get ready for a fabulous middle-of-the-day luncheon and silent auction fundraiser! There’s going to be so much activity going on, we thought we would help you by putting together a checklist of things to do when you arrive at the event. You don’t want to miss out on a single thing. In fact, we highly suggest you get there when the doors open at 10:30am so you have plenty of time to check off everything on this list.

CheckboxJust before registration, walk the red carpet and flash those pearly white teeth for a photo at the Step & Repeat banner. Show off that fantastic witchy hat by yourself or with your friends.

CheckboxWhen you register, you will receive your bidding number and, very importantly, a ticket for a complimentary glass of champagne to start off the event right.

As you first enter the Silent Auction area, you will be greeted by the beautiful melodies coming from the grand piano. Lee Allen has been the pianist adding relaxing music to the event for the past few years. [There’s nothing to check off here; just wanted to give him a shout out.]

CheckboxTake your free champagne ticket to the lovely witchy woman surrounded by glasses of champagne waiting to be consumed.

CheckboxFind the nearest Candy Man and purchase a box for $25 ($20/box if you get 2 or more boxes) of rich delectable chocolates from Chocolate Dream Box to receive your ticket(s) to enter the drawing for the sparkly diamond earrings valued at $6,500 sponsored by Joe Escobar Diamonds. These little boxes sell out every year.

CheckboxMake your way to the Kendra Scott table to make your donation of $50 per mystery box to own your newest piece of Kendra Scott jewelry valued at $50 to $200. Only 60 boxes will be available, so don’t wait too long.

CheckboxPeruse and bid on your favorite Silent Auction items. Many are one-of-a-kind that you won’t find anywhere else. Remember, the silent auction closes at 1:00pm sharp!

CheckboxStop by the Centerpieces for sale. These are uniquely designed each year only for the Wonderful Witchy Women silent auction fundraiser. Our Decor committee was hard at work creating these – only 58 available to purchase! They will look amazing on your dining room table or in the foyer.

CheckboxStop by the table where representatives from each of the non-profits we are supporting are seated; learn more about their organization and how they’re helping local women and children in need.

And this is just the beginning…before the program begins. Now it’s time to sit down at your table and enjoy a delicious lunch made with the freshest ingredients and autumnal flavors. And don’t forget – all mobile bidding and silent auction closes promptly at 1:00pm!

Candy Men and the Opportunity Drawing

They’re baaaaaack. And once again, the Candy Men will be carrying platters of gold boxes of sweet, scrumptious, delectable artisan chocolates from the Chocolate Dream Box, a local chocolatier that offered their chocolates to last year’s event as well.

Looking quite debonair in their black tuxedos and bow ties, the Candy Men will be doing the heavy lifting (it’s amazing how hefty those chocolates can be…OK maybe it’s the silver platters) carrying the platters around the floor. And no, it’s not just about the chocolates. Each box includes a ticket for the opportunity drawing to win a unique piece of beautiful jewelry designed just for the Wonderful Witchy Women luncheon by Joe Escobar Diamonds. They have been sponsoring this drawing for many years, creating a piece exclusively for this fundraiser. Each box is a donation of $25. But if you decide you would like more than one box, it becomes $20/box. And guess what – there’s no limit to the number of boxes you could get! Yay!

This year, the winner will enjoy a stunning pair of 3-piece diamond drop earrings including 24 marquise cut diamonds, 8 princess cut diamonds, and 136 round brilliant cut diamonds for a total weight of 1.90 carats set in 18K white gold, valued at $6,500. You can’t miss the beautiful sparkle these earrings bring.

The winner of the drawing will be announced toward the end of the program. So, make sure you stick around for all of the fun because you must be present to win.
