Behind the Scenes – Centerpieces

Once again, Steph J., head of the Decor committee, has come up with a spectacular centerpiece for the Wonderful Witchy Women dining tables. She has been noodling on these one-of-a-kind art pieces for several months now and finally, she gets to see her finished work. They are, in a word, stunning.

The star of the piece is a porcelain witch. She joins her sister witch from last year’s artful centerpiece in the long line of famous witches to adorn the Wonderful Witchy Women tables. Both are part of a collectible set, “The Pendleton Witches,” imported from England. In fact, each lucky centerpiece owner will receive a short booklet describing the origins and stories related to the Pendleton witches.

Each Pendleton witch is entirely handmade with hand-painted porcelain faces and boots. The “spell books” in the centerpiece are real books that were found at a charity rummage sale. Steph J. and her committee transformed these books by hand painting and stenciling each one into “Spell Books of Kindness.”

All in all, the decor committee spent over 400 hours creating a total of 60 centerpieces! Considering the expectation of hundreds of attendees, you don’t want to miss out on purchasing your own as soon as possible. They will be sold for $85 each and available online before the event and at the event itself. Here’s a sneak peek:

Gorgeous, eh? Did I mention there will only be a total of 60 centerpieces? Yes, that’s right. Don’t hesitate to snatch one up as soon as you can. See you at the event!
