Signature Events – Food, Glorious Food!

OK, so we should probably rename “signature events” to “signature experiences” when it comes to the wine-ing and dining packages our auction committee has assembled. I mean, these items are not your run-of-the-mill dine-at-your-favorite-restaurant kinds of experiences. There’s something extra special about these bid items whether it be the location or the food or the drink or something. All are certain to capture your interest and all I can say is…INDULGE.

How about throwing a dinner party together for 12? And YOU don’t have to do the cooking or serving. And…LOBSTER for dinner? Rombauer Chardonnay? This is an experience certain to impress your friends.

Ever wonder how to make those elegant, artful pieces of sushi? Wonder no longer. Not when you can have a master sushi chef come over to teach you and your friends his techniques and let you in on a few of his secrets and then top it off with a fabulous 5-course dinner!

Of course, there are times when the food is the experience. So uniquely and delectably prepared with the freshest ingredients, the artistry of the chef is what makes this dining experience stand out, in this case, Chef Kinch of Manresa.

The Candy Man Can…and more

Remember how I said there are many unique things about the Wonderful Witchy Women luncheon fundraiser that makes it so fun? Well, read on…

Who can take a sunrise, sprinkle it with dew…candymen

Cover it with chocolate and a miracle or two..

The Candy Man, oh the Candy Man can…

The Candy Man can ‘cause he sells boxes of chocolates for a raffle tix or two…

Seek out the tuxedo-garbed band of Candy men strolling around the venue to purchase box(es) of gourmet chocolates from local chocolatier, Chocolate Dream Box [1 box = $25, 2+ boxes = $20 each, and 5 boxes for $100] to obtain your raffle tickets for the drawing of an exclusive, one-of-WWW CANDYMAN TRAY PICTUREa-kind, Aquamarine ring by perennial Wonderful Witchy Women supporter, Joe Escobar Diamonds

Each year, J. Escobar designs a stunning piece of diamond-studded jewelry for our annual auction and it always boggles our collective minds how they are able to come up with one gorgeous design after another. And this year’s piece is no exception.

wwwc2015-6As this will certainly be a memorable affair, stop by the Step & Repeat banner to capture a few fun moments with your friends.

Head up to the multitude of themed baskets and
one-of-a-kind signature experiences for bidding. Fitness packages, photography sessions, spa treatments, intimate gourmet dinner parties, sports and theater tickets, sailing excursions, getaways near and far and much, much more. There is a broad variety of auction items sure to appeal to everyone.

wwwc2015-187When the doors open, find your table, admire the unique custom-designed centerpiece (remember, you can purchase one for yourself), savor the Autumn-inspired luncheon, and enjoy the program. Representatives from each of the charities supported this year will share stories from the work they’ve done and remind us all why we have gathered together. As in year’s past, there won’t be a dry eye in the room.
